The short version, in plain English
Effective 2026-02-27. Please read before creating an account.
1. How the subscription works
Every new account starts with a 30-day free trial with full access to every feature — no credit card required.
When the trial ends, keep going for $30 per month (billed securely via Authorize.Net). You can add team seats or cancel anytime.
Cancelling. Head to Account → Subscription and tap Cancel subscription. Your access stays active until the end of the paid period, then the account switches to read-only — all of your projects, invoices, and photos remain saved and can be reactivated at any time.
2. This is an advisory tool — not the FAA
Drone Flight Station is an independent advisory tool. It is not an official FAA program, is not affiliated with the FAA, and is not endorsed by the FAA in any form.
The assessments, waiver suggestions, airspace summaries, and TFR readouts inside the app are aids to help you plan a mission. They are not legal determinations and do not replace communication with the FAA, LAANC, your insurer, or a qualified aviation attorney.
3. Verify the regs yourself, every time
You are the pilot in command. Before any flight, independently verify every applicable FAA regulation — 14 CFR Part 107, current NOTAMs, active TFRs, airspace authorizations, and any state or local rules.
Rules change, and the tool's data sources can lag or be incomplete. If the app says one thing and the FAA says another, the FAA wins. Always confirm with authoritative sources: faa.gov, faadronezone.faa.gov, tfr.faa.gov, and your LAANC provider.
4. Forum conduct
The pilot forum is a shared space. To keep it useful, every post and reply must be:
- Respectful and courteous to other pilots — no personal attacks, harassment, or discrimination.
- Clean and professional — no profanity, slurs, or explicit content.
- On-topic and genuine — spam, advertising, referral links, and off-topic promotion will be removed.
Posts that violate these rules may be deleted without notice, and repeat offenders may lose forum access. If you see something inappropriate, tell us through the Help page.
By creating an account you confirm you've read and agree to the four points above. You can revisit this agreement anytime from the footer or your Account page.
